Dr. Pei Desrosiers is the CEO of the Stanfield Desrosiers Foundation, which supports BIPOC and LGBTQ communities in creating intergenerational wealth and removing barriers to generational wealth through effective strategies that promote asset-building. The foundation invests in individuals and initiatives that disrupt wealth inequality and build sustainable intergenerational wealth among marginalized groups, both locally and overseas.

Dr. Pei is a highly skilled professional with expertise in fiscal management and behavioral science. She has extensive experience in philanthropy, venture capital, nonprofit development, audit, C-leadership coaching, and organizational development.

Her strong fiscal management skills have been critical in ensuring the foundation's operations are financially sustainable in their mission to redress the impact of systemic racism and discrimination. Her background in behavioral science enables her to provide coaching, leadership, and support to individuals and organizations that seek to create lasting change in their communities.

Dr. Pei is a highly experienced Behavioral Health Clinician, Licensed Master Social Worker, and ordained minister with a doctorate in Interfaith Clinical Education in Pastoral Counseling. She believes in the power of behavioral science to drive change and improve lives, and recognizes the importance of intersectionality in her work — seeking to address the ways in which systemic oppression impacts mental health and wellbeing.

Pei brings a dual focus on strong fiscal management and strategic vision to her work. She is a visionary leader committed to making a positive impact in the world by funding innovative nonprofits, raising venture capital for social investments in progressive nonprofits, and serving as a deeply committed advocate for social justice and equity on the macro level.

Stanfield Desrosiers Foundation

The Stanfield Desrosiers Foundation (SDF) was founded in 2023 in honor of two remarkable men — Louis Greene Stanfield II and Louis Bedard Desrosiers — whose lives embodied service, equity, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

Named by Dr. Pei Desrosiers after discovering the shared principles between her father and her partner in building the foundation, SDF channels philanthropic capital where it is needed most: into the hands of communities building their own power. The foundation invests in individuals and initiatives that disrupt wealth inequality and build sustainable intergenerational wealth among Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQIA+ communities — both locally and overseas — and the progressive organizations that serve them.

The framework behind
every decision

Practical Empathy + Insight = Sustainable Change

01
Practical Empathy
Understanding is not enough — it must translate into action. Dr. Pei's clinical training anchors every leadership decision in the lived realities of the people most affected. Empathy without accountability is just sympathy.
02
Insight
Systems change requires knowing how systems actually work — their history, their incentives, their contradictions. Dr. Pei brings clinical, theological, and organizational insight to every challenge she takes on.
03
Sustainable Change
Quick fixes are not justice. Dr. Pei builds for permanence — philanthropic structures, community organizations, and clinical frameworks designed to outlast any single leader and create lasting generational transformation.
